Furuya is just absent minded and would forget, it would be hilarious seeing him trying to wear the shirts of his shorter teammates, especially because he’d probably ask Haruichi before anyone else. He would see that the rest of his laundry is dirty and just stare blankly at where the spare clothing should be. It doesn’t help that the pitcher sweats so much, he hates the feeling of clothing sticking to him so he is quick to change if his shirt is getting uncomfortable.
Eijun goes through laundry faster than anyone at Seido. He has a habit of changing after every workout, but he forgets that he works out more than once every-day simply because he lives in the moment and doesn’t think ahead in preparation. When he realizes he’s down to his last shirt he scrambles around his room, looking under the bed and even behind the television to see if any clothing had gotten flung behind it. In the end he would probably “borrow” one from Kuramochi, hoping that he wouldn’t notice. ~ Admin Furuya
How would Miyuki, Sawamura, Ryosuke, Haruichi, Mei, and Kuramochi ask their crush out?
Yikes, so Admin Furuya, being the genius she is, accidentally answered a request privately instead of posting it. This is what they wrote nonetheless. ~Admin Furuya
Miyuki Kazuya: He had no idea what to do. Miyuki wasn’t good at being vulnerable, he usually pushed feelings aside with humor and sarcasm. So when he realized that he had a crush on you it would take a lot of time for him to confess. He mainly wanted to get to know you as a friend before confessing. He would try his best not to make a big deal out of it. “Oi~ Want to come over after school? I’m cooking dinner and I usually make too much for just myself.” He asked nonchalantly.
Sawamura Eijun: Sawamura wasn’t the best in hiding his feelings, yet he didn’t actually know that he had a crush on you until Miyuki and Kuramochi pointed out that he was acting strangely. After that he spent a lot of time thinking about it. He came to the resolve that if he could be the ace of Seido than could also be the ace of you heart. Although Sawamura wasn’t subtle about how he felt typically, he was a natural when it came to charisma. “Would you like to go to the arcade with me sometime?” He’d ask with a bright smile and shining eyes.
Ryosuke Kominato: Ryosuke wasn’t the best with feelings, but sass and sarcasm had always been his go-to in most situations. He’d strategize how to get you on your own where he knew he wouldn’t be interrupted. He’d smile pleasantly as the two of you talked during your lunch-break and be the model gentleman, but the whole time he was waiting for the perfect moment to spring it on you. “Hey, ______, what do you say to going to that new ramen shop that opened up in town? I hear there’s a discount for couples.” He gave you a look of sincerity; you never thought you would see that expression from him, of all people.
Haruichi Kominato: Sweet and subtle is Haruichi’s style, he’d find a way to talk to you, probably by organizing a study session. Although, he sometimes got embarrassed in front of large crowds, he was strangely confident when it was just you and him. He’d wait until the two of you were alone and working steadily before he’d drop a subtle line to see if you’d notice. “_________-chan, is it possible that we could hang-out outside of studying?” He smiled to himself as his lips formed the last couple words of his request.
Narumiya Mei: Even though he wouldn’t ever admit it, Mei was actually a pretty insecure guy despite his cocky attitude on the field. When he wanted to ask you out he would probably rehearse in front of the mirror for hours trying to find the right words to say. However, as soon as he had pulled you aside and mustered up the courage to speak, he was a mess of words. Nonetheless, he wouldn’t give up that easily, he’d regain his composure and ask you out to do whatever you want. “Uh, well, what I wanted to ask you was- Would you like to go out with me?” Although his cheeks were flushed red, his blue eyes shone intently.
Kuramochi Youichi: Kuramochi is a pretty suave gentleman. He’d probably start by asking if he could walk you home from school. On one of these evenings, snow was starting to lightly fall. Kuramochi unraveled his scarf from around his own neck before gently wrapping it around you, the whole time he wore a serious expression. He offered you his arm, which to his hidden relief, you accepted as you headed down the streets in shared solitude. “Would you like to go see a movie sometime?” He smiled sweetly.

Sawamura Eijun: “You might not be the ace of the team yet, but you’re already the ace of my heart.” Sawamura looked at you, his eyes wide with bewilderment. Several long seconds passed before he realized that you had actually just said that. The blush that spread across his tanned face was so radiant you could almost feel its warmth. “Y- You mean it?!?!” Sawamura half-yelled forgetting that you were only about eight inches from his face. “I wouldn’t have said it if I didn’t mean it.” You mumbled starting to feel embarrassed by how sappy it sounded. To your surprise, you were tackled by your boyfriend who trapped you in his strong arms as he peppered your face with sweet and rough kisses, leaving no spot untouched. “I’ll prove to you both on the mound and in your heart that I’m worthy of the title.” He said seriously enough to make you blush even brighter than he was.
Miyuki Kazuya: “I think we would make a great battery, so if I pitch you my heart will you catch it?” You stood shyly on the mound, digging a small hole in front of the rubber as he read the words you had written on the baseball he had given you when you asked to pitch to him. He fell from his catching position as he doubled over in laughter. You blushed bright red knowing that it was corny but witty, just the way he liked it. He got up and walked over to the mound still trying to control his chuckles. “You’ve got some nerve _______, I’ll give you that much, but you’re forgetting one thing.”
You fidgeted with your glove in embarrassment, trying to avoid his eyes and the feeling of your cheeks glowing even brighter.
He leaned close to your ear so that his lips almost brushed your skin,“ You have to have absolute trust that I’ll catch it.”
He put his catcher’s mitt on top of your head to draw you into his smirking kiss.
Kuramochi Yoichi: “Your speed is contagious, my heart beats so fast whenever I’m around you.” Kuramochi looked up from his bowl of noodles with a furrowed brow, like he was certain that you didn’t actually just say that. He took a gulp and cleared his throat. “What?” He asked with a slightly indignant look on his face. “You heard me.” you grinned knowing that he was getting more and more embarrassed by the second. “Idiot, you don’t say things like that when we’re in public! What if someone hears?!” “Hear what? That I love you and you make my heart pound with excitement?” You teased tossing your hair over your shoulder while glancing at him from the corner of your eye. His face reddened considerably before he not-to-gently grabbed your shoulder and pulled you towards him so that you could hear what he had to say. “You know that it riles me up when you say things like that. So wait till’ we’re alone so that I can give you the reward you deserve.” He grinned wickedly causing goosebumps to spread from the back of your neck and down your spine.
Isashiki Jun: “My love for you burns hotter than your anger.” Isashiki looked up at you from the shoujou manga that he had in his hands with an expression that could only be described as incredulousness. He tried to hide his blush behind the pages of his manga, it was very uncharacteristic of him. The awkward silence that followed was heavy in the room. “You’re not going to say anything?” You teased. “I don’t think you understand just how angry I can get…” He trailed off avoiding direct eye-contact. “That’s the point!” You giggled cutely snuggling up to his rather stiff side. “You just don’t understand how much I love you.” You whispered as you closed your eyes in tranquility. To your surprise however, Isashiki bent over and kissed you so passionately that your breath and teasing remarks were lost in the moment.
Maybe Jun reads too much Shoujou manga to the point that he’s actually quite the hopeless romantic, my headcanons will one day be canon I swear on Chris’ right shoulder. ~ Admin Furuya
Tetsu Yuki: “You might not be able to capture my king, but my heart has already fallen for you.” Tetsu’s focus on the shogi board before him was halted. He slowly looked up at you as you silently placed another piece on the board, after-all, it’s not like you actually said it aloud. “What did you say?” his deep voice jolted you from your somewhat absent-minded thoughts. “I didn’t say anything- at least I don’t think I did…?” You stammered feeling your face turn hot. Yuki wasn’t always adept at understanding jokes and flirting. The first couple of dates between you two had been the kind of awkward only found in extremely staged hollywood-like moments. He smiled and steepled his fingers as he observed your embarrassment. His keen eyes seemed to make you fidget and squirm even more. “Just you wait.” He picked up a shogi piece and held it at eye-level,” I’ve taken your heart captive, but since I am your king, I can assure you that I’ve been captured. Checkmate.” He placed the peace down with a small smile and you realized that you’d been utterly defeated. But this was the kind of defeat that you accepted with honor as you crawled over to Yuki and seated yourself in his lap, laying your head against his chest.
Haruichi Kominato: “I’m the type of person that’ll let you score behind home plate.” You pretended like you hadn’t made him nearly choke on the sundae that the two of you were sharing as you sipped through your straw feigning innocence. Once he managed to recover he quietly chuckled, trying to hide his face behind his arm. “You shouldn’t say such suggestive things like that in public.” he laughed while rubbing the back of his neck subconsciously. You had to admit that you expected him to be a lot more embarrassed, so you almost felt a little let down. “But you know ______, I might just take you up on that offer.”He looked up and you saw one of his eyes glittering fiercely from behind his coral-hued bangs. You felt your heart skip a beat as you nearly chocked on your ice-cream.
We all know about Haruichi’s hidden nature that runs in the Kominato family~
Ryosuke Kominato: “I hear you play second base, personally I’ve always thought of myself as a fielder’s choice, but I only want to hear it from you.” You tried to wipe that self-confident smile off of his face, but to your frustration, he only laughed. “Usually we only tag out the biggest threat, and I don’t see you as much of a threat on the field.” He snarked back chuckling a bit. You felt pretty stunned and was about to voice your indignation when he cut you off- “But when it comes to the heart, you might just be the biggest threat out there.” He said so quietly you barely caught the words as they left his lips. “Don’t get too cocky though, because if you want to get onto second base you’re gonna have to dodge the first baseman’s glove.” He grinned maliciously.
